I came across this unfinished project yesterday and decided to finish it. It started out as part of a different project when I changed my mind about the size I wanted. The butterfly was part of the original project. Then this cat was a freebie from somewhere so I added it at some point, still not motivated to finish it. Yesterday I added a zipper, sewed it together and added a lining and it turned out to be pretty cute. I don't know why it took me so long.

Oh, I do that all the time! Something takes my attention away for a while. Then I discover something that I want to finish. This is a darling little purse! People will be asking you about where you got it!

My son's girlfriend is a cat person. I think I need to make one for her. Maybe if I start now I can get it done in time for Christmas.

Do you think you could find out where you got the design. I really like it and would like to buy it if it is no longer free. I frequently find what I want by doing a google image search, but this one did not show up. Lots of plain cat silhouettes but none with the cute filled stitching detail and two piece applique.
