I just have to show you this amazing quilt that a very good friend has made. All the appliqué has been done by hand. There is no machine embroidery in sight apart from the label that I was asked to do. I think it is amazing. The label is actually on calico and is not green as it looks in the picture.

I also used to do much handwork, especially x stitch but I am afraid my machine embroidery has taken over.

It is wonderful. Hand applique is not easy and is hard on the hand. This surely is a labor of love---glad you made a label for it.
