Here's a question for you who quilt. I am trying to finish a queen sized quilt that is hand embroidered. I ended up quilting the 42-15x15 inch blocks by machine with quilting thread and invisible thread. I just could not physically do the hand quilting. I have all those bits of invisible threads now on the back. Should I ignore them and hope the backing fabric (a sturdy home dec thickness) will flatten them or should I clip them? This has been a 10 year project and I just want to finish it. This has not been an easy project for my unhappy spine and vertigo. Thanks for any and all suggestions.
