My daughter asked me to make her a bag. Inside i used a fabricbag from IKEA with a pocket inside. . Also gave her a zipper, she want to close her bag properly for the pickpockers. I used this pattern

It is surprising just what Ikea does sell. They have it in the curtain section but it isn't all heavy weight some as soft as sheeting. I couldn't believe it when one time we were in a store and someone told me you just measure and cut your own fabric.

They have a large range of fabrics. Nice cotton you can use for sheeting or light weight curtains, thicker curtain material and denim type fabric ideal for bags, cushion covers, placemats etc. I often use the thinner cottons as lining for all type of projects.
