When I saw Bev's coin purses made with bandana squares I remembered that I had some in my stash so I sewed these yesterday. I don't remember where the design came from. Done in a 5x7 hoop. I got both purses out of one square but had to use additional scraps to line the second one.

Very cute - surfed the web and found a free ITH one similiar to this one from Five Star Fonts. The front of it is quilted with decreasing hearts.

I have that design too and have done it several times, Five Star Fonts also has a free design that you can use to quilt the back. It requires a separate hooping but so worth the extra effort in your finished purse. I always quilt my backs, even if the design doesn't call for it.
