we have been on holiday ( a short one lol) & we have been to Kentucky TN too see the "ARC" & I have to say it was fascinating! I won't spoil it for others but I will tell you one of things that we learned while we were there. Craftsmanship was amazing & the detail so fine. They are made from a 3D printer on a large scale & made out of Styrofoam & then they go from there. Some of the animals created with fur are put together with a needle & thread using one single strand @ a time. That's more patience then I have with a needle & thread lol.

Looks like taxidermy to me. Saw 5 live deer in my woods at dusk tonight - the most ever at one time on my property.

Sounds like you had a good time!

Beautiful pic and amazing info. Looks like that deer, which looks real, has a big stall. Cannot imagine the size and number of stalls needed, it must be huge! Maybe some day I will get to see. I would not have the patience with needle and thread either. Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Barba

it is the size of 2 football fields & 8-10 stories high. I do hope that you get the chance to see it but I would recommend waiting @least another year. They are adding more exhibits & a petting zoo.

We were up there earlier this month! It is AWESOME! Built to scale and when you come around that bend & there it is, blows your mind! So recommend you go see it if you have a chance, cuties. We were there on a Mon. after school started and there were not the huge crowds like there were when it first opened.

It's name is The Ark Encounter. You can google it & find their web page that will explain it all. It's amazing. It's in KY about 3 1/2 hrs. from Knoxville, TN off I-75.

Thanks Gerry. I have added it to our agenda for the trip. Hugs. Nan
