My new home.

Chris (pennifold) was asking if we have moved into our new home yet. Settlement day was Thursday just gone and we picked up the keys yesterday and had the locksmith come and change all the locks. There is quite a lot of update work to be done before we move in like painting, new power points where I want them and upgrade of cupboards etc. A lot of work ahead of us. The packing is almost done so now we can concentrate on those other jobs. Won't be moving in until most of the work has been done. Hugs Shirley

I thought you had moved already and were settling in, my mistake. I wish you much happiness in this new home and the next chapter of your life.-Toogie

Thanks Toogie. It had been a long time waiting for settlement as it was rented out. Now for the hard work. Hugs

Thanks. I am looking forward to be able to sew again. The machines have been packed away for 2 months and it will be quite a few more before they see the light of day. Hugs

Congrats on your new home, Shirley -will it have more room for sewing? -or perhaps the main aim is less area of garden to look after so that you have more time to sew!!

Thanks. No my sewing room will be smaller but am hoping to fit my desks in. Will have to sell 1 machine but then I have not used it much so I won't miss it. As for the gartden that is hubby's job not mine LOL. Hugs

Congratulations with your new home ! Looks like a nice neighbourhood. And a nice garden too. Lots of work ahead, but afterwards when you are settled so nice to live in.

Well done Shirley, looks like a nice solid brick home. Lots of windows too and a lovely neat garden. Congratulations, love Chris

Thanks Chris. Nice to have big windows but they do take up wall space where furniture could be put but we will work around that problem. The garden should not be too hard to keep under control. Hugs
