We're off today to celebrate Trev's Mum's 90th birthday. Many of the family have made the special effort to come to Canberra where she lives to celebrate this wonderful birthday. I've been taking lots of pictures and when I come back home on Tuesday I'll share some of them with you all.
At last we have a perfect day here. It's been raining ever since we got here on Thursday. Today it will be 20C (68F) with light winds and the sky is bright blue with a few light clouds.
We are having a High tea picnic at a local park and 2 of Trev's cousins are flying over from Adelaide. We saw them when we went back to Adelaide last year. Greg is 66 and Dianne is 68 - makes for a wonderful get together.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Daylight savings started here this morning and as I write this it is 10.30am Sunday morning. Love Chris
Would need wooly knickers and long johns on and would still freeze.LOL
You are right Trev's Mum looks great for 90.
Mum had a very warm jacket on as she feels the cold, but it was a beautiful day. We all ended up having to take off some layers! Kids don't feel the cold anyway.
Lots of food left over, so Ros and Craig took it home with them (Craig is Trev's brother).
We are back at our motel watching the pre-game entertainment till the Grand Final of the NRL which starts tonight at 7.15pm!!
