These are very cute. Please help as I think I am having a language problem. Your apples look like a notepad where the pages are made of paper and you can tear them out and use them. My knowledge of a pocketbook is a purse or bag females carry their stuff in. So, how did you make these or, what is a pocketbook? Thanks

It looks like a paperback book.

These are very cute. How did you cut them?

paperback books are sometimes called pocket books.

I used a red colopurpaintspray for my apples

Thank you all for your help. I would guess the word pocketbook shows my age. This is a wonderful idea and thank you for the link.

Very interesting! 65 yrs ago I remember taking Readers Digests , folding every page into a point, gluing back to front after folding, then painting with green paint and sprinkling with glitter. Voila you had a Christmas tree. Amazing how things come back years later in a different mode. There was no cutting when you did the tree. I like the apples and pumpkins.
