Just wanted to try out the mug rug from San Francisco Stitch Co.

1st picture the front
2nd picture the back

I am thinking of using it as my Christmas card/gift combo and make more of them.

My husband is. I can't see the joy in owning 240 penny blacks just to reconstruct a printing plate :) He is red/green colour-blind so I have to help him occasionally.
Well, he can't understand my being over the moon with a wide range of blue threads, or yellow, let alone reds or greens.
So I think that evens it out nicely.

To clarify: the original stamps were printed with letters for the columns and rows in the bottom corners. I think there were 240 stamps on one plate. And they also had plate numbers.
So imagine just missing BC - like an incomplete jigsaw.
