Sorry Robbie, you're asking the wrong person, I don't do freebies, but if you look up to the left side of this page you will see a menu in blue writing including "Freebies", which is a link to postings here at Cute, by other Cuties who spend hours compiling lists of sites that give freebies.

I am a digitiser and a Cute member just like you now are.

When I first started I used to collect free designs but have since found many of them not worth keeping, though having said that, there are far more designs, freely offered, by reputable digitisers, that are well worth having and keeping.

Time and experience is required to discern which designs, from which digitisers, you yourself are happy to keep and stitch out.

It is all a matter of personal choice, for myself, I would much rather pay for a well digitised design, that I REALLY want, than collect a hundred poorly digitised freebies.

The links to freebies, given here at Cute, are to sites that can be trusted not to have viruses or spyware so can be trusted.

Just a few points to remember:
it is illegal to SHARE designs you have NOT digitised yourself,
it is also illegal to digitise designs from artwork you do NOT have permission to use,
and it is illegal to use copyright protected designs, (ie: Disney) on articles you intend to sell.
Even if you have a Brother Disney machine and have purchased the Disney designs from the Licensed Brother Disney (and other characters) website. You still must not sell articles with those licensed designs on them, you can only give them as gifts to family and friends.

Before you purchase, or download, a design you should always check the website to see what their Licence allows you to with their designs.

If in doubt just come here to Cute and ask because there are many knowledgeable members here who are only too willing to help others learn their way through the minefield.

designs are wasted if they only ever sit in my computer and don't get used, especially when people obviously need them and they can make some embroidery projects so much easier. hugs n love, M
