Good morning Cuties- I've been keeping busy sewing my quilt designs. The top and bottom ones take nearly 2 hours to sew out, so I'm only doing 2 a day. They see out beautifully - gone through many bobbins already . I bought 5 reels of Robison Anton Snow White thread for this quilt.
We are off to Delphi's 3rd birthday 🎉 gathering this afternoon. Can't believe she is 3 on Monday. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. It's absolutely stunning here today. My sister is on holiday over in Queenstown, New Zealand and said she is blown away by its beauty. Luv Chris
All of these designs have over 50,000 stitches and have been sewn in the 9x10 (230x255) hoop and as I said above take over 2 hours, some 2 and a half hours!!!!

Chris these are really great and sounds as if its going to keep you busy for a while. Enjoy Delphi's birthday. I had a friend round and we were wondering where the past two years has gone as our grand daughters will be 2 very soon.

Chris, It will be stunning when you finish, how many blocks do you have to do although a lot of time it will be well worth it when you finish, I find putting it together is the worst though

These blocks are beautiful and make a wonderful quilt. Do you think to join (as you go) them in the hoop?

No I want to have sashes between these blocks and don't want to have the bulk of extra seams when they are all put together. One day I'll do a small quilt-as-you-go. Luv Chris

I am so excited for you Chris---can't wait to see the finished results. This design and white thread is so lovely on the polka dots. That is what I have a problem doing is deciding if a stitch would look good on pattern fabric. This is striking.
