I do have the same files in different categories and I wonder if that would work for me, because I do want them to be organized that way.

Hi Angie..according to what I have read, if you cross file the same designs into two different folder categories, it will not remove them...it allows for cross filing...

I've had Deduper for a number of years and would not be without it. You can set it up as you like it. I only let it save the formats I want - in my case pes, vp3, vip (not every design comes in vp3) and jpg.
I too have the same design in different categories so I choose to be prompted when handling duplicates.

Thanks, Martine...it is kind of scary to think I might delete something I should not have...I lean of the side of overkill when it comes to designs.... :)
