Abby's poodle skirt I just finished for her Celebrate the 50's Day at Kindergarten this Fri. The yellow leash was Abby's choice not mine or her Mothers. The poodle I ironed on . Her Grandmother purchased that and the fabric which was what I call Duck, all cotton so it has to be ironed. Laughed when my daughter asked how the fabric was. My response was " well it's definitely not perm press" My No 1 daughter does not sew. As everyone knows Abby is my 5 yr old Great Grand. Cut the pattern from Newspaper./Lillian

That is adorable and I'm not sure Miss Abby could be ANY cuter, she will certainly be best dressed.

She was happy with it. Best thing she'll be able to wear it again next year with hem let down and I hand stitched the yellow leash so it will be easy to do another color too.

Amazing you can even THINK at this point, much less sew something so cute for Abby. I like pink and yellow in a garden, but most people don't like this combination. Maybe she is going to be artistic?

She certainly has her on mind when it comes to clothes and colors. Sewing keeps my mind busy, must concentrate on what I am doing. Thanks much

Anything goes with colour in childrens' worlds thank goodness. Remember when "blue and green shall not be seen without a colour inbetween"???. This was a big no no for years. Now we see redheads wearing pinks and reds, Eureka..we are finally liberated colour wise. .....Ann
