I have the lace version. Maybe you put in fabric and skipped over the lace... ??? Mine is from Sew Forum and these are dala horses, if anyone else reads this.

I apologize for not being able to see your picture clearly and I see that you did say it was lace. ( I'm overdue for cataract surgery because I'm too anxious.) Mostly, I hope this is what you are looking for.

I have this one too. It is still available at sew forum.
I have been keeping a notebook to record embroidery designs I have used, the date and who they were for just in case I want to make the same design again. It has come in very handy.
I have also been saving a copy of the design in a folder marked embroidery designs I have used, as it is quicker to search this folder than my entire embroidery designs for just one design.
