I made this quilt for my parents' golden wedding anniversary, 7 years ago. The front of the quilt was a pattern, called ' Grandmother's Albumn', from an Australian patchwork magazine which gave you part of the pattern each month. A few of us from our patchwork group each made our own quilt following the magazine. There is a lot of applique work on the quilt I made mine half-size, scaling the patterns down - those little grapes are about a quarter inch in size. The back of the quilt contains photos on fabric of the various members of the family and family history. It hangs in my parents' living room above their two recliners.
