These are all fantastic. Looks like you had a fun and productive sewing time. I can't imagine trying to explain the disappearing 9 patch over the phone. Well done.

Dear Mrs. Officially Exhausted..................what a kind lady you are to be guiding your Sister in the dark arts of sewing therapy, etc. She has certainly turned out some beautiful projects under your tutelage for which you should both be very proud. Unfortunately, my Sister did not take after my dear old Mum and take on the sewing arts so I can't turn to her for my own personal teaching guidance. But as you say, you now deserve a good old rest after these few days.

Very nice designs Sue. Your posts always amaze me regarding how much you get done and created, but-- Wow, have you ever been busy! I am sure your sister returned home overjoyed with her finished Christmas treasures. You are a wonderful sister, and should feel proud of being one. Rest now and do something that is a treat for you.

You lucky girl having a sister with whom you can sew. My sister lives nearly 2000km away from me and I get to see her once in a blue moon! She has officially retired from the school she has been at for donkey's years just in July and is finding it difficult to get into a routine.
The work you and your sister have done here is outstanding, I particularly love the little felt ornaments and the cushion cover. You have been very productive. I know your sister would have had a wonderful time with you. Love Chris

I bet, exhausted or not, you had a great time. The results look very pretty.

My sister came last Monday with very expensive silk, lining and a pattern and wanted a gala dress. So we made a toile to to get a good fit and sewed the lining, which fortunately fitted like a glove and then the expensive outer, put in the invisible 60 cm zip. Then she had to go home to Italian classes, choir practice and so on. Sleeves are not done yet, so she returns next Monday, and we hope to finish Tuesday or Wednesday.
I was asked to help her, but it turned out she learned the most from watching (her words). She talked 5 quarters in an hour, so hubby made himself scares but we had a great albeit exhausting time.

Sounds like a good few days spent together! Wish I had a sister to sew with!
