Hello Cuties, This was our 'Scarecrow Princess'.

I wanted to show you Nora's Halloween costume AFTER mom took a more professional photo with her camera, and Nora in full make up. (Still waiting for it-lol) Anyway, we had just finished it here and stood her on the bed, so she could get a look at herself in the dresser mirror. I cut the tulle to which Mom inserted in the stretch band. We ran the ribbon through the center front and back and tied in a bow in back. Then glue the sunflower over the ribbon at center front.
I made the hat with burlap, lined with felt. I sewed orange and brown colored burlap patches here and there and a brown ribbon band. Also, glued a small sunflower under band edge.
For Halloween mom gave her a nose 'patch' with makeup and everyone that passed us said how cute she was! Of couse, we beamed. She had a good first time Trick or Treating, but she rather socialize, ...wonder who she got that from....anyway, she wanted to stop and talk to the other kids like the Ninja Turtle, the fairy godmother, the Anna from Frozen, etc-lol- rather than go up and get her treats.
I came home on Monday night, from my 11 day trip and made this the Friday, before Halloween on Monday. I think I slept most of that Tuesday, but had a really good time. May post photos in another post.
I hope you like our 'Scarecrow Princess'-lol-she didn't want to wear the hat, but mom told her this was what the 'scarecrow princesses wore, instead of crowns'-lol- that made it okay then-lol

Precious , precious!! I love homemade Halloween costumes. Can you imagine our generation buying a costume!!! We may have bought a face mask here and there , but never a costume!!!

He seems to be doing good, thank you for asking. They (Drs) 'think' the spot on his heart is a flap of loose skin.

It wasn't my idea. She (mom) sent me a text photo of it. She saw it on Pintrest or something. Thanks for looking!

Thanks, mom saw costume online, probably on Pintrest, but the idea to call her the 'scarecrow princess' came from her mom. She has a great imagination and really takes time to talk/explain to the kids.

I made the hat, but my daughter and I, worked on the dress. Creative mind was on a pintrest post. My daughter saw a picture there, also ours was not exactly the same.
