Hubby requested a Christmas tree for his work desk.
He like the variegated fsl bookmark I made him a while back and wanted his tree to be similar. He likes his red wine too so I made the decorations in a wine colour.
the design is from mops from DBC from way back when I first joined.
I took the photos while still in the hoop as it looks really pretty even without the decorations on it. I embroidered the decorations after i took these photos. I will add the completed tree photo once it is dry

It looks pretty in these colours, never thought of using variegated thread. There was also a part 2 with decorations - see picture.
I digitised those in Nov 2010, in green, to have a better picture on the machine screen, and stitched them only in white

Thanks for sharing this design so long ago. It has been on my to do list for some time. The white tree you made was beautiful. It was what prompted me to download the design years ago. I will be making one in white for my MIL.
