Hi Cuties. I need a bit of help. My friend wants me to monogram placemats for her priest who is from India. My question is which initial should I use? He love to entertain and always sets a lovely table. thanks. Nan W

I would do the first initial of his last name either in the lower corner or as big as I could get it in the center of the mat.

Just curious....but what corner would you put the initial...and would you do it differently for a design or initial? For instance, would you put an A on the left but a pumpkin on the right?
That was my first thought as it is how I did my own. But I was unsure which of his names was his surname since he is from India.
