Since yesterday afternoon helicopters have been flying backwards and forwards to the lagoon to collect water to put the veld fires out. The sky is full of smoke, it is hot and there is a strong wind blowing. I hope all the residents are keeping safe.

Just wondering where you are located at. The Smokey Mts. have been on fire in TN some time now.... Didn't know if you might be in that area. I hate to hear when any place is on fire, it's just awful. People loose so much and some even loose their life... This is really awful. Hope the fires will be out where you are soon. May God be with all those in need during these awful fires.

Hoping they can get the fire out without any loss of life...we too here in California so understand how dangerous and deadly fires are.
