Christmas table runner... Oriental strip quilted runner where strips are sewn through batting and backing at the same time and then the binding is sewn on last. The thin red strip border around the large center design and the pine needle strips are metallic fabrics and the other red fabric is complimented with light metallic highlights.

Beautifully done. I did one similar years ago at our quilt club or class and for some reason my point didn't end up right---never figured that one out but it is still on my dresser anyways.

Thanks all. Just to add one more item to the description, In the very center of the large block, I embroidered an outline of a wreath in silver metallic thread and put a red bow of fine red cord on as a special touch. I never do anything in quilting without some kind of embroidery as part of the design.
