Let's play,What is your favorite decoration, ornament, etc and why?

This globe is Nora's favorite at my house and one of my favorites too.You touch the two little bumps in front and the globe opens to the scene with the nutcracker and lady going round & round, to Silver Bells. When music stops, it closes up. The front reads, 'May the Magic and Wonder of Christmas Be yours Always'.
When I was little my Momo had a ballerina figurine that had a wire at the top. When you turned the wire, the ballerina would turn, and go up and down. Oh how I love it!
Yes, you can have more than one and show us too.
My tree always has an ornament of my moms, hung near the top. It's the nativity. It may be rather plain but means so much to me. I don't have a photo of it on my pc but may add it later.

For my DH, a tree is not a Christmas tree unless it is topped with a star and has a nativity underneath!

He has the true meaning. I always have the nativity up. It's a picture in my living room.

I would have to say that it is a nativity scene carved out of olive tree material.

It is promised to Nora when she is old enough to take care of it. I think she would like to drag it around like her toys, but she's really been good at just making it open & play, without picking it up. We explained it's special and it's for her to enjoy every year, so she has to take care of it.....I still wonder what happen to my grandmothers ballerina I loved so.....I didn't mean to make you sad about you having to give yours away, but its nice you are helping your GD collect. I hope you have a Merry Christmas Carol

I love your globe. It's beautiful. I admit I can easily live without a Christmas tree and ornaments. But Christmas is just not Christmas without a Nativity. Sorry, no picture. Ours is missing. I think my handsome hubby accidently donated the box it was in last Jan so I'm hoping someone is very happy with their Nativity scene. And I get to make another.

Oh No! ..now have you made another?
The older I get the less I want to put up the tree, but I do it for the kids, big and little, they expect it.And hubby that never helped before makes the start but guess whose left to finish.....
