Today's project is the poinsettia coaster from Kim. I want to get some festive fabrics in other colors and make some more of these. edited 12/6. This coaster has an additional file where you can make the inner petals a contrasting color so I stitched that one out today. Unfortunately my coordinating fabric doesn't provide enough contrast to make it look much different than the original one.The main difference is that the center fabric on the second has some glitter on it but the camera is not showing that. The second picture\ shows both coasters, the one on the bottom is the original and the one on the top has the contrasting center.

This one is just a single layer but there is another file that does a two layer. I haven't tried that one yet. Well actually it is two layer, the green and the red. The other file adds another layer for the inner petals.

Teresa...you have done a wonderful job! I love the fabrics you selected and your thread choices...I am so glad you have enjoyed stitching these and glad you were able to get them done in time for the holidays! So many time I have sent designs to Cuties and they have never taken the time to actually make them. Seeing them done and posted is the best thank you I could receive.
