I just deleted my whole design files for 2016. Have to wait until my son in law gets home to see If I can recover it. Otherwise I lost every design I dl this year.

If he cannot find them in the "recycle bin" he can use a free program called Recuva.

Sorry to hear of your plight. Sure hope your SIL can retrieve them. I thought I had problems but this would reduce me to tears. Hugs Shirley

Have you tried searching for the folder? Maybe you just accidentally moved them. I have done that.

I won't worry he will find the file. The good thing it has a name, i think that makes it easier.
Did you look at the folder above and below sometimes I have just moved a file that way. Good Luck

Ahhh did you jump up and down and stamp your feet! It won't make your files reappear but it makes you feel a bit less stressful.

Hi Damaris, I'm sure they will still be somewhere on the computer. Have you done a search in the start icon and typed in the name of the folder? Good luck with it all, love Chris

I have tried searching on my own but came up with nothing. My SIL didn't call me back yet. I was making candy yesterday and should have stuck to that.

That large of a file would have to be "permanently" deleted. Which means it is now hidden from any regular search. That is where the software I mentioned will help. If you don't do too much to your computer, your SIL should be able to retrieve them. You can always ask your local computer store how much they would charge to retrieve them.
