We have now moved into our new home.

The kitchen is as good as finished. The painter will finish painting the kitchen/dining while I am here at the library using the free wifi. Great I will be able to put all the kitchen contents in the cupboards.
Boy will I be pleased when I get the internet connected at the house. There is kinder group here this morning. While I am sure the children are enjoying themselves I am not. I can't keep my mind on what I am doing. Once upon a time you were not allowed to talk in the library.
Sunday the library is closed so I had to use my mobile internet stick. It took me till 5 PM to find it. Yesterday we decide to set up just the TV. Guess what can't find the remote.
This is the most stressful move I have had. I am never moving again. Hopefully we will get things in order sometime, so until then I feel like I am camping in my own home. I told hubby last night I think camping would be far less stressful. Hugs

Life will settle down again. Its almost 18 months since we moved and I still am sorting things out between looking after grandchildren and having fun. The plusses of a move outweigh the minuses. Enjoy your new home

Sounds like things are going typically for the first week. Years ago our church got a new pastor and his wife didn't come to church the first Sunday. Before the move she gave him a hanger with her Sunday outfit, slip, pantyhose, shoe bag, makeup, etc. and told him to put it somewhere safe, like in his office so she could definitely find it for Sunday. He couldn't remember where it was, or that she had asked. So, we met her the second week!
