Excellent (as always.) How would you go about doing a rectangular shape like this? (I'm thinking table runner.)

thank you, you are so kind. I do this quilt as you go, so I always start at the center. I cut the batting and a thin backing 2 inches bigger than the size I would like to have finished. I choose a center piece that has at least 5 angles, then just continue adding small pieces as I go along. Have never tried crazy patch for a runner, but another way might be to make 3 big squares the width of the runner and then add a thin black sashing in between, to make it a bit less crazy (?) and to bring out the colors of the patchwork. you are so clever, Iam sure you will find out a better way to do this. hugs, Mary
Thanks - I'm working on it!
Can't wait to see this Sue. It will be a "Jim Dandy"/Lillian
