Oh gosh! It's perfect just as it is! This is an interesting way to do a dresden plate. Did you do that wide white stitching all at the end? Or as you constructed it? It looks like a special style of stitching instead of a satin stitch. The quilting lines give it a lot of motion. Love it.

Thank you very much, this was done in 5 hoopings, the satin stitch was done as it was being constructed, the middle was the last piece, Jean xx
Thanks for the info!

Just bringing this to the top again as I wanted to know where did you get the design Jean? It's a wonderful way of constructing a piece of patchwork. Love Chris

Hi Chris, Kreative Kiwi, got it in the sale for $1.00 you can do it 2 ways, all one colour, as I have done or lots of colour, Did you see it is done in 5 hoopings, Jean xx

I think it looks good. Don't be so hard on yourself. No one will notice. Kiwi's large designs are fantastic. I have made two of these and forgot the quilting in part 5 on one, had to do that by regular machine and difficulty adding the center circle on the second one because of thick fabric that I couldn't trim close enough.

I get so mad with myself, it's always the last bit, it won't beat me, I will try it again one day, lol, Jean xx

I have this pattern also but have been uneasy about sewing it out. I have not done anything like this yet. Maybe after Christmas I will try it. I think yours came out very pretty. I think we can all see our mistakes in what we make but others see the beauty.

It was very easy to do, it was the last piece, the middle, it didn't want to fit snugly, I will do it again, thanks Jean xx

The edges look great and with a bowl in the middle no one will even notice the center. If you hadn't mentioned it we would never have looked.
