Good morning Cuties!

I am finally getting MY coasters made. They are so beautiful!!! In fact too beautiful for coasters...I want to hang it on the tree....or attach it to a doily...display it where it can be admired without soiling.
I am showing you the two fabrics I used and also the backside still in the hoop. I think its pretty too! My 'petal' fabric had gold splotches in it already. If you look closely, you can see it in the outer petals where there is no 'veining' stitches. It has been stitched before by others and I think all the colors look beautiful.
I just love it, don't you? Thanks again to the digitizer for doing an amazing job creating.-Toogie

Beautiful!! I agree it seems too pretty to use as a coaster but maybe it will make an ordinary drink taste special.

Absolutely beautiful. Your thread colors really make the fabrics pop. Everything coordinates so well. I love all the variations folks are coming up with.

I enjoy all the colors too, thanks. I was uncertain to do the center green or gold...........
by sewtired 17 Dec 2016
I think the green looks good. I would probably have done gold, but I am not very adventurous.

If you would take the small round drapery hooks and put the hooks on the back, they could be attached to items. I thought it would be a good idea to add to a wreath or curtain tiebacks!!! Maybe next year Kim will bring it out of retirement. lol

Could you add clear plastic (That clear stuff you make clear bags out of) on last round before adding back - then they wouldn't get stained.

by toogie 17 Dec 2016
That might take away from the beauty so I think I'll use them as ornamental.

I love your fabrics. I have made about 25 of these now so I could decorate a tree if I chose to. But mine will be for gifts. I still want to do a set in white and gold.

You are right. Need to be hung. They look wonderful (back and front)
Love your fabric and thanks for suggestion to look closely at fabric that is stitches. WOW-

I told dragonflyer that it was a LOT of stitches, but I guess that's what make them so nice. She is tops with her designs.
Right now I just have the two, so they are sitting at each end of my coffee table, on a white scarf/doily.
