I had these two mugs printed with photographs of Herdwick sheep for my daughter. I printed the same pictures onto fabric and used that to make a pair of mugrugs. I knew she wouldn't approve of quilting over the pictures so I compromised by using a jigsaw pattern.

What beautiful faces the Herdwick sheep have and the mug rugs look wonderful. Love Chris

They are the hardiest breed we have here - out on the fells in all weathers. They do have lovely faces. The brown one is a shearling. They are on;y grey as adults.

What wonderful, thoughtful gifts for your daughter. Just remember ~ don't get mad when she cuts out that jigsaw puzzle so she can properly work it.

What a great set! Did you use the fabric treated to be printed or ??? I have tried printing on fabric and without some treatment, mine have not washed that well...

I used Bubble Jet 2000 to treat the fabric. It seems to work well.
Thanks, Sue...I have a bottle of that and have treated some fabric with it...but have not printed any treated fabric yet...
