I did a couple of test coasters today and there are some mistakes that I had to do a save on but unless you have done these designs I don't think you will see them. All in all I am pleased with the end result. The black outline stitch is not one of the mistakes, I deliberately left that off. OK, I'll tell you so you don't make the same mistake. This design is not meant for a patterned fabric. If you look carefully at the holly one you will see that the holly berries are not a filled design and the underlying fabric shows through. So I used a marker to color the white snowfkakes and now they aren't so prominent. The same is true on the poinsettia design, so I added another layer of fabric to the area under the flower part to block out the snowfkakes. More work but I like the results.

I think you have done a great job with these, they look terrific and I can not see any mistakes. I have not used my design as yeat, but will watch it carefully next year. Sandra.

I had to enlarge to even see what your mistake was..Thanks for the heads up..
Love the coasters and the poinsettia one with the red stitch overlay on the white satin border is a real nice touch.

They look great! Was this a "turn right-side out to finish" design? Because the sides are really straight and square (vs bowed in a bit, which tends to happen to me).

Yes, the final stitch sews on the back and then it is turned right side out.
