It's really pretty, with the plaid blanket over the pillows and the decorative throw pillows. I would also, like to know what is draped through the heart stand?...It looks crocheted.

Explain to me please. Did you do all the quilting and then come back and do the applique, or did do the applique on a big sheet of fabric and then quilt, just how did you assemble? I guess I really need to pm you...

I have now looked really close and I see you have hand appliqued the 'rings', for a better word, in blocks. Then assembled and quilted. I have all kind of books from a deceased quilters' family and I have been on pc looking & reading as well. I still would like to know which way you 'attached' your flowers, before you hand appliqued.............
The rings are small bias strips appliqued down first then the flowers last the centers, this is done in blocks and sewn together then borders put on red and cream last of all the quilting by hand also the flowers are hand sewn. and finishing off the whole is the out side binding made from the red fabric into bias binding and hand sewn.
