The determination of youth. I also thought that Josh was skiing but sand and snow are both good for skiing, sledging and the like. Met a family I the sand dunes the other day with a sledge. Hope the leg arrives soon

Happy New Year Joshua and keep on doing all of the things you want to do. Your only limitations are the ones that you accept.
Sarah, he's a wonderful example. I know you must be proud. Hugs.

How brilliant to see that lovely smile on Joshua's face. I agree with Toogie - the sky's the limit for him. I hope his new job is fulfilling for him and that his new leg arrives soon. Happy New Year to you all, love Chris

P.S. I hope you had a great holiday with Charlotte and the twins.

Thank you Chris for your words. Klaus and I were actually by ourselves. Emma and Josh were only in Johannesburg for a short while, mainly for Josh to have a cyst removed from his stump. The day after we arrived Charlotte and family flew to England to spend Christmas with Paul's mum. We have been house and dog sitting. We go home today and Charlotte and co arrive on Saturday. I have really missed my girls.

Kudos to Josh. He has proven over and over that he is handi-able. Isn't it wonderful what amputees can do now! I hope he continues to enjoy life to the fullest.

He is amazing. Without his leg he just hops around. Does not use his crutches indoors. Happy New Year to you Karen

Thank you Bettina, yes he is doing well. Not much traveling, just to Johannesburg for Christmas. Back home again and sewing madly.
