Made 3 sets of reusable scented Hand Warmers to give with gifts. The designs are from Embroidery Library.
I used 100% wool felt for the covers. Filled some with rice and others with navy beans, and scented them with lavender. Heat them in a microwave for 30 seconds, and they stay warm for about 15-20 minutes. They are wonderful to warm up and relax with after you come in from the cold winter weather.

That's a great idea for you guys in the northern hemisphere during winter. Love Chris

We've been really enjoying the low temps. It's only been 6F with wind chills of -40F. Quit balmy for Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Come visit and enjoy the ice and snow here.

What a creative idea to make these! I can't tell if these are felt or fleece from the photo...but polyester might melt in the microwave so I guess with wool. Great choice of designs to use with them.
