Hi Meg.......I can go down to an .18 (I don't know if that is mm or not) with a few fonts.....I usually do a .55 and that is about 1/2 an inch.....

I've had to create the word Windsor in the space of 1.25 inches, this makes the Capital W 1/10" high, the lower case half that and the width of the satin stitch is only 1 mm or about 1/18".
I can create it but trying to stitch it out on towelling is proving a daunting task!!!
