Today Malachi is 2 months old. My Grandson posted several pictures of him being held by his Mom and Dad. He is so cute. He said he may be able to come home in a week or so. They are really excited and nervous to get him home. I had asked him for their address, but he didn't answer me. Yesterday I asked his girlfriend and in less than 2 hours she sent it to me.

Oh Kathy, sounds like he's got a good girlfriend and a smart one, too. I can't imagine anything you have done to be treated with indifference by your grandson. I pray his heart softens, by all he has gone through with Malachi, his son. It should make him realize how precious his relationship is with his own family. May the prayers being prayed, chisel away the hardness of his heart. Toogie

I am so happy the girlfriend sent you the address. Just remember take little steps at a time. As your Grandson is not quite ready to play happy families with you. Don't make him feel he is not in charge of his life or family. Send him the gifts you have made with a note telling him how much you care about him and his little boy. Don't back him into a corner where he feels trapped.

Congrats on all of the good news. What a special day to hear Malachi is going home! It sounds like his girlfriend is softening towards you. I hope this door is soon opened wide to include all members of the family. Be patient and keep us updated. We need to keep praying.

OMG!!! Just saw a picture of Malachi without any wires. He will be going home on Wednesday!!!
