Breakfast nook cushions. My son made storage benches in his breakfast nook and he and his wife asked me to help with the cushions. We went to the fabric store together and picked fabric. I made the seat cushions with piping and zippers and they made the pillows. It was their first time using my serger and making buttonholes. It warmed my heart to share my passion with them.

A great job accomplished by all! Love the fabrics they chose, too. The cording or piping really dresses it up, professionally.

Nicely done! What a gift to all work together to make such a useful memory together...I am sure they will think of you every time they sit there!

Nice collaborative work.........................and I like the Dalmatian firefighter and fire hydrant ornament which looks very similar to one that I have in my home.

Thank you. Those are salt and pepper shakers that I bought them. My son is a firefighter.
That explains everything. Please give him my very best and to stay safe (from one retired firefighter).
I will do that, thank you.

I like how tight the covers look and how sharp the edges of the cushions are, great work since I have done this type of work I can tell your workmanship look very good.

These look great! I can never get my piping just right on the first stitching. I have to go over it a second time to get it nice and finished looking. Yours looks so professional!

Thank you. I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I did baste the piping onto the base fabric before sewing the edges together.
