Hi Cuties, I made these and thought I'd show you. The ITH bag is free from sewforum and the butterfly design is free from Brother site in the Animal category. The top 4 are from fabrics given to me and I got the bottom fabric on clearance at Walmart yesterday. The butterfly and purple zip really makes a dollar a yard fabric look good, doesn't it?

I have stitched this butterfly before and stitches well every time. I like it because it is quick and just one color.

I do too Sarah. I like the bags you have been doing, too. Are they 5x7 or larger, the ones with the contrast corners? I got a design from Sick with contrast corners, but no instructions or back. I am sure I can figure it out and make the back, still, I like info.

lol- you grab a few minutes during the day. I had made a few before the kids came at noon (I had to babysit). Then I made a couple while they were in my sewing room with me, watching live Frozen performance on my pc. Made all six yesterday.-lol

Very nice! Love the purple polka dot fabric.... You're right, the purple zip and butterfly make the fabric perfect.

Thank you Sharon. I had a friend shopping with me. Some of the pieces we bought we both got cuts off of. When I asked her about this piece, she didn't want any. I think it was about 5 yards, so 5 dollars. I thought it could also be good to line a purse. Wait until my friend sees the change, what was made, in this piece of fabric-lol

I just love it when something so nice can be made from fabric that nobody else can see a use for.

I got this fabric when the lady quit quilting and later died. Her daughter did some sewing but what she didn't give for the prayer quilts, she gave to me.
I also wanted to say, I love to picture the fabric flat and then see how you make something from just a flat piece. It still excites me.-lol
