Meet Barnabas. The hospice I support is having a coffee morning tomorrow so I thought I'd make a raffle prize. (I needed to test stitch the design!)

His limbs are attached with Kam Snaps.

Well done Sue, how on earth did you get those Kam snaps on the sides like that? Enjoy your morning tea - he will be a huge success I'm sure. Love Chris

My guess is you Kam Snap before you stuff!
by spendlove 02 Feb 2017
Yes - the snaps go on as soon as the pieces are turned through. It wasn't difficult with this bear but I don't think it would be possible with a smaller one.

Ah Sue Barnabas is a cutie and looking at him in the bottom picture I can see you have created a new design and way of assembling a ith design. Hope the coffee morning goes well and Barnabas goes to a great new home

Great design, I love the fake button eyes. Inspired use of those Kam Snaps! I hope the raffle will raise some well-needed cash and Barny bear (sounds like a darter) will get a good home.

There is already a popular cartoon character called Barney so I stuck with his Sunday name! There were a lot of people buying raffle tickets )including me.)

I didn't win the whisky. (Or anything actually.)
by dennis999 03 Feb 2017
That's a shame Sue. Still, as long as it was a good day and the winner of the whisky bought loads of raffle tickets to benefit the cause.
