SEMI FINISHED FLOWERGIRL DRESS!
Amy has just arrived it's midday Sunday here as I write this. The dress has the petticoat under it that belongs to Ophelie, so we will have to buy a new one for Delphi.
I still have to hand finish the Raw silk ruffle and the skirt has only been tacked on and so it's not finally finished.
Once it's finally finished I'll put up a piccie. Love Chris
P.S. Delphi loves it!
Maisie had to get in on the picture too, sorry about cutting out Amy, but I've put up one of her cutting out the Invititations.

It will be a beautiful wedding with such beautiful girls and wonderfully made dresses. How many do you have to make? The white really makes her skin look so tan.

Thanks Toogie. The bridesmaids are wearing white as well as the 2 flower girls. The bridesmaids dresses have been bought by them. I'm only making the flowergirl dresses and Amy has helped. She has bought her wedding gown as well.

Sun tans are easily acquired & free ,just spend some time outside.

Hi Carolyn, yes the girls have very olive skin and are always at the beach. Amy and Steve live in at Merewether (a suburb close to our coast line, they often walk to the beach). As Judy has said above it's been so very hot here for Summer - it's been the hottest for a long time that I can remember. Love Chris

Its amazing how different the the dresses look ,though they are from the same pattern.You have solved the tulle problem & the petticoat looks like the scratching of the tulle is solved too

Chris....Delphi is so cute in her fancy flower girl dress! i love the dress that you have made for her. Those fancy fabrics are not easy to work with, but definitely worth it.

Thanks Sharon, you are right the fabrics were fiddly, more so the lace and lining. Once Amy had cut out the Tulle so perfectly that was the easy bit. Love Chris
