Hi Cuties, as some of you know I've made several of these bags, experimenting with the size of bottom fabric. I think I finally like the size I cut this one, although I wish I had a better brown fabric color. My sides didn't match as well,as I was using what was left on this piece.
I was able to monogram, as I will be giving it to my host that I'm spending the week-end with. Mops has recently reminded us of our decorative stitches built into our machines. I hope you like the one I chose to go with this, thank Mops. As always, a special thank you to the Cutie for my name. Always-Toogie
What kind of machine do you have? Mine are Brother single needle, just 4x4 and 5x7 fields. I would love to have something bigger, but since I don't play the lottery and emb machines don't grow on trees, (lol) it will remain a dream!
The font was a purchased font, not one on my machine. How long have you had your machine?
I do hope to have a fun week-end, not all work, thanks.-Toogie
Now that you have used the last bits of your fabric, I wonder what your next choice will be.
The decorative stitch is a step down and up zigzag, I guess you would call it. I started to do a triple ZZ when it goes over the same stitch 3 times, to make it bolder, but I liked this best when I was playing with the stitches. Thanks again for your reminder.
Hugs, Lidia
I love your little mermaid bag, fabric and your design.
