Hi Cuties, as most of you are already aware, I have at LEAST 2 weaknesses. One is fabric and the other a great deal. Now don't fuss me yet! My husband was right there watching me too, probably feeling sorry, for my out of control-lol
I just counted up 27 1/4 yards (first two photos) for $35.22 plus tax, makes it come to an average of $1.42 a yard!!! Now honestly, could you resist? Most was $3.97 or $4.44 a yard, but the Batik was regularly $8.97 yd!
The next to last photo #3 is from a day out with another sewer/friend. We found this reduced fabric at an average of $1 a yard! I was really good. I let my friend get all she wanted. I bought the rest and then halved most of it with my daughter. We both had the chevron already and the Olaf fabric wasn't but about 2 yds, so I kept it for Nora or Gus. The rest we split.

I was in a store the other day and a lady bought a fair amount of fabric and asked if she could have some of the cardboards if they didn't want them. Sure they said a $1 each. And she was paying full price of $28 a metre = 39 inches.
I don't suppose there are any bargain shops like that near Disneyland in Florida?
My son and family are going in April should send him shopping LOL.

I wouldn't know about Florida but tell him to check out all the Walmart stores around. I bought some Waverly chevron out of state, just like I got here, same mark down too. Sometimes the prices are the same, sometimes not.

Gosh and I think getting some fabric for under $20AUD a metre is a bargain. Most of my Patchwork fabrics cost well over $20.00AUD a metre. Great choices there Carolyn ❤️ Chris

Chris, We're pretty used to paying $10-12USD per yard (less than your metre) for quilting cottons and $14 for batiks. Always glad to find for less!

Here in Australia as Chris said they are rarely under $10 a Metre. I live in South Australia and the good quilting cottons are usually between $24 - $28 per Metre and not very often on special and then only a few dollars cheaper You did well, I will have to get you to go shopping for me Val

Besides all my other hobbies, into card making now. At my favorite resale/thrift shop purchased a 5 inch stack of heavy cardstock for $3. Man, I left there on cloud 9. Some of the pieces were marked $2.50 a piece. WHAT A BARGAIN! Can relate to your adding to your stash. Just enjoy.

what price, I become envious . . . batik or patchwork fabrik costs in Germany, by metre 18,-€ ca. 19,-USD, a quite easy cotton starts with 6.-€ and Jersy from 12,-€. Chocolate is to be got in all prize situations -LOL,

Toogie your ability to smell out a bargain is brilliant. Yes I'm sure that you could become a personal shopper for fabrics, have fun and make some money too along the way. The chocolate aids the recovery from carrying home all the bargains

Sure it does!!!-lol-But no joke, I told my daughter she needs to hire out for Christmas decorating. A lot of couples that work, don't have time and she does so well.

Good for you. My stash is in the basement and yesterday the basement flooded. We have had so much snow nearly 4 ft and now rain. I am so discouraged. So far the fabric is okay, and hopefully no more rain or snow.

Oh dear! What has caused it to flood? Is there a crack in the foundation or walls? I am afraid I'm not familiar with basement houses, so was wondering how it came in. I do hope the water doesn't cause anymore damage and you will be able to have it repaired. Bless you, I can only imagine how discouraged you are....
