Life has just got in the way of my sewing so have not done as much as I would have liked so this is how far my quilt is. Have estimated that I would need approximately 30 more blocks oh boy I have really done it this time I hope it does not get too heavy my previous sewing room was twice the size I have now and the work top was 3 times the size

Those are beautiful quilt blocks. Would you mind sharing where you found that ITH designs or is it the quilting you did in the hoop. It will be a awesome quilt when finished.

Thanks for the kind words all the blocks are the paper piecing method some of the quilting is ith and some is free motion I got all the blocks free I Googled free paper piecing blocks and managed to acquire a few it's the first time for paper piecing for me I photocopied the patterns on stitch and tear and reduced the sized of the stitch which made it easier when tearing the paper out.

Yes have done the bl9ck with paper piecing and quilt as you go will show the back at a later stage

That's a pretty big project to take on. I like how you rotated the blocks around the center star. I look forward to seeing the finished quilt!

Looks good! The one I'm working on has identical blocks which are so boring! I've done 36 so far but that is only just over half way.

Thanks Sue yes I did a log cabin quilt which was boredom 101 so I decided on different blocks that I had never done and also have not done paper piecing keeps the boredom away
