Hello Cuties, I know most of us have made these little bags in the hoop, but this one was made by regular sewing. My sister came and I had made her an ITH bag with her name (sorry, forgot to take a photo). Her friend that was with her showed me a small one she had in her purse and asked if I could make one small like that to stand up. Here is the result, but I wish I would have measured hers.

I cut this one 8 inches wide X 6 1/2 inches tall-I took 1/2 inch seams....I have since removed the loose red threads showing inside the bag.-lol-didn't see them until I looked at the photo on computer. I also boxed the corners coming down 3/4 inch at the points, making it sit on 1 1/2 inch corners. The smallest bag I have made to sit up. I think it is so cute!
Also, I wanted to show you this fabric I want to make my next purse or tote with. I am going to try sewing this vinyl/fake leather in the bottom, kinda like my elk tote, I think but maybe a little taller bottom. I haven't really decided yet, just how I'll make it but don't you think the fabric is pretty!

Thanks Chris, I couldn't resist. The print on the bottom photo was so great a deal, I got the rest of the bolt, which was a little over 4 yards. Sixty inches wide too.

Thank you for being so kind. The stripe fabric was a free piece and the red from Walmart.

Yes, if I know you they go to, I do monogram and it does look so much nicer. It would have helped this red for sure. Thanks Kay-Toogie
