JOSHUA

My daughter has just sent me some pictures through of Josh having his new leg fitted in Dubai. I really hope this very clever leg will work well. He has been having troubles with his old leg, rubbing him sore. You can see his new leg on the floor.
He is loving his job learning to become a veterinary nurse.

My hopes are that this new improved leg will not cause Josh any problems. I'm sure that this is a process. Hang in there buddy!

Thank you Jerrilyn. It is such a relief to know that they have found a good prosthetic guy in Dubai and can you believe, he is also from South Africa

Josh has been waiting a long time for his new leg. Hurry it has finally arrived. Now I hope he is able to resume all the activities he enjoys and that this leg lasts a very long time. Josh rocks with his new limb.

Karen this is actually his leg that was made in South Africa. Unfortunately Josh was not around for it to be fitted properly. He has made his leg so sore trying to wear it. It is great that they have found a guy who is able to remodel it for him.

Sarah, I just sent you a pm and was wondering about Josh. Someone just brought this up, so I get an answer as quick as snapping my finger or in this case, clicking my mouse!-lol
So happy he loves his work. Isn't medical technology something! Here's hoping this is the right fit and style for Josh. As always, wishing him the best. Toogie

Thank you Gerry. At the moment he is only allowed to wear the new leg for a couple of hours a day. For the rest of the time he is on crutches, which he hates.
