Today, the 28th of February, is my eldest and only son's birthday. My eldest daughter ,3 years his junior, and her husband is having a B-B-Q and birthday cake for him, at their camp...umm... Isn't that nice of them.... We will be leaving in a little while to go meet them all.
I hope we don't stay too late, as I have an early morning tomorrow and didn't sleep much last night. I have to go to Ashley's and keep all the kids, while they drive 3 hours round trip, to pick up their claw footed bath tub that has been restored. I can't wait to see it.
I use to lie, I mean kinda not tell, my exact age.-lol-For instance, I used to say when I was 50, that it was my 15th anniversary of my 35th birthday. That's not exactly a lie, now is it?!! Do the math if you must and it will add up to 50, but it SOUNDED better than saying 50. Now 50 looks good, even 60 not so bad-lol- Today our son Brian is 47 born in Stuttgart, Germany when we were in the military....Where does the time go....Boy, my HUSBAND is getting old!-LOL-LOL
All my kids and grands and my great g-son were there but 2, Brian's middle son and Marsha's oldest son. The BBQ was so good, as were the 'fixin's' /sides. When the cake was brought out, they said the fire alarm had been set off because of all the lit candles-lol- Nice time had by all, thank you.
