That part looks like it would be pretty flimsy. I'm stumped.
setting here now wondering the same thing?
Without seeing the design in software I can't tell that part is FSL.

I just looked again and now I see a that the space looks like arms hugging. Some of them are more obvious than others.

Perhaps, as it is an APPLIQUE design, once you place your chosen fabric underneath the "arms" it will complete the design! Just a thought?
