Has anyone purchased the program AcuDesign by jarome. It is supposed to be a great program but you need an Ipad to run it. If you have this program did you have to buy a new Ipad I have tried everything to download it on one my friend gave me and it will not download. I called apple and they say that I may need a new Ipad. They will not refund my money and I just cannot afford an Ipad at this time to. If you have this can you tell me how you downloaded it without purchasing a new one.

I am very sorry you are having this problem. I have an generation 1 iPad too and most new apps can't be used on it. Whenever I try to download something new I get the message I need a newer operating system, but anything higher than 5 is incompatible with the old iPad.
So I don't even try and buy something for it.

This is certainly a cautionary tale. I never knew that such a problem existed. I'll be sure to know what a program will run on before buying!
