Update The storm is winding down now and we still have power... Thank God.... The winds have died down too. The snow has turned to rain and it is very messy. We did have a lot of snow but the rain is making it shrink and heavy. We just shoveled the mess and now the temps will drop and freeze the slush. We will have an icy driveway and sidewalk but we have salt and sand to put on it. We made out and did not get the worst of the storm. Yeah. Thanks!

Hi everyone... We are all hunkered down .. We are expecting a big blizzard tomorrow. We are expecting up to about 18 inches of snow. Isn't spring next week? hehe This is hopefully the last of this season. Hope we do not lose power but if we do we are ready ... Suzanne

Hope you are safe inside and don't have to go out at all.
Waiting for the other side of the World to warm up so we can cool down.

I don't think it is going to get us in metro Atlanta. The north GA mountains may see some snow. I can not believe it was 77 degrees here a couple of days ago. Stay safe and pray your power does not go out. Kay

Hi, I also am in a blizzard warning but I am in the Pocono's in PA and they are telling us we can get up to 30 inches of snow. I don't care how much snow we get, we can deal with that it's the power. Just praying we don't loose it. Everyone stay safe. My family and I aren't going anywhere. Arlene

I want the warmth now... I am tired of winter. We new Englanders are always prepared for this weather. Thanks!

I know you have to be. When we went to Maine in October, some places were already boarded up for the winter. It was the end of the tourist season. They said the week after we left they got their 'nor'easterner winds' and blew all the pretty foliage off the trees. We were lucky to have seen it, in its beauty.

Difficult for me to imagine what you are going through as we are suffering with the heat here in S. Africa. Keep safe

Wet snow has got to be the worse! It's still snowing here and there is 30" on the ground - the weather folks are calling for another 8" before it is all done, but at least it is "sugar snow", not the "heart attack", "power line snapping" stuff you're having. Hope the electric stays on and you and yours stay safe. Hugs from CNY*
