Cuties here's a story for you.

As a few of you already know, my husband does things in his sleep, at least he SAYS he is asleep when he hits me.-lol

Anyway, I want to tell you about my husband the other night.

He goes to bed before I do, most of the time. About 2 nights ago, I was about to get into bed when he hollered out and started loudly clapping his hands, about 4 times, too. Scared the weeby-geebies out of me! I hurried up and got my IPhone so I could record him.(I need proof)

Well, the room is too dark, for a good recording and I didn't want to wake him, by turning on the light. I filmed anyway, because he kept fidgeting with the covers. He is left handed, but his right hand never went completely down on the bed. He then slowly raised it and began to point straight at me! He kept working his pointed finger back and forth real slow and trembley (is that a word?).

I really kind of began to get frightened as I had never seen this performance before. He shouted out one more time and my storage was full on my phone.

I will say this lasted about 20 minutes and I sure wasn't going to bed now! I also thought about a show I had watched where one time a guy got up, in his sleep, and killed his MIL....oh my! I went right then and locked the gun cabinet and hid the key....now where did I put it..... oh well.

Some time later, I thought, he is settled down so I'm gonna try and wake him. I woke him up and asked if he was alright.....I remember my dad used to say the nurses would wake him and ask if he had trouble sleeping. He said sure he did, they kept waking him and asking dumb questions....oh, I got off track...

He answered and said yes, why?..WHY? I WANTED TO SAY...well, I told him I was about to cry after seeing and hearing him in his sleep. I told him what he had done.

We both laid there awhile and he started telling me he had been dreaming. He said, his daddy and him were hog hunting. He doesn't know why he was on the ground, but the hogs were coming toward him. He was shouting and clapping trying to turn them away from him.

I said you kept pointing too, straight at me. He said he was trying to show his daddy which way they went!-

If I don't have enough going on during the day, I am now hog hunting at night!-lol-

I don't know why, but this started about 10 years ago, when we took a trip. At that time he shouted so loud, his cousin's husband came to our room to check and see if we were alright. He said he used to never dream. He blames it on his blood pressure medicine (have you e-v-e-r ). Anyway, I'm glad to know he's dreaming and not going crazy or possessed.-lol-

Just another day, or night in this case, in my crazy corner of the world. Hope you had a good laugh.....now where did I put that key.........Toogie
hugs
P.S. Make sure you remember where you put that key!
That would have been scary, if he tied me up. You know a man is so much stronger than a woman and when they don't realize what they are doing......can I come sleep at your house?-lol

Some excitement our hearts can do without.lol
What scared me was, him not knowing what he was doing. I am glad he was able to recall his dream though.
I hope things get better for you and Denny.
He may not do anything for awhile now, or it may be tonight, you just never know.
I just wonder if its safe to wake them during their dreams....
When I use to work I would complain to my co-worker the nights I couldn't sleep b/c of his snoring. She said one morning the paper headlines are going to read, "Husband Dies From Snoring" because wife smothered him with a pillow!-lol
